As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization. You will work closely with the executive team to develop financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide insightful recommendations to drive business growth and profitability. As my client continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions, they are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing their financial operations.

Description

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, and provide explanations and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash flow effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Optimize cash management processes and identify opportunities to improve working capital efficiency.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and overhead expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness over time.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term financial plans and investment strategies.
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities and provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in finance management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
