Job Summary: The Billing Department Lead will oversee the daily operations of the billing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in billing and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the billing team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices, ensuring all billing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular audits of billing processes and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Train and mentor billing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Prepare and present regular reports on billing activities, performance metrics, and department goals to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Healthcare or medical billing experience
• Strong understanding of billing procedures, regulations, and best practices.
