SUMMARY
Responsible for securing and maintaining the church congregation and staff, buildings, equipment and grounds. HVAC monitoring and adjustments, ordering of cleaning supplies for Main, RCCYC and Care, oversees radio maintenance and inventory, responsible for EMS set-ups and assigns tasks for the evening employees and contractors, generates and assign work orders, cleans and conduct housekeeping as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Opens and closes buildings daily, insuring that lights, heating and/or air conditioner are turned off and on at appropriate times.
Insures the church building and grounds are secured at all times and protected from unauthorized visitors.
Notifies police, Building Superintendent and/or property manager in case of emergency, including break-ins, vandalism, theft, or assault.
Escorts members, visitors and staff members to parking areas upon request. Directs traffic before and after church services or special events.
Provides information and directs people to sanctuary and to other meeting areas. Provides appropriate room set up when necessary.
Coordinates with inside security and with outside Contract security. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for diploma.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- CPR certification. First Aid training.
- High degree of decision-making ability. Must be flexible in terms of scheduling. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

- Must be able to walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms a majority of the time. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Should be able to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point.
