Job description

Duties Provide oversight and guidance for the Power Platform and SharePoint Online environment command wide. Coordinate necessary approvals from leadership, governance, and cyber security. Maintain an active line of communication with system owners and customers as problems are discovered and addressed. Advise on application code and database changes to improve performance and sustainability. Provide technical information in response to cyber security questions and promptly address all security findings. Provide recommendations on modernizing applications and toolsets to maximize supportability, security, efficiency, and collaboration. Stays abreast of new and upcoming technologies, tools, industry standards, best practices, cyber security guidelines, and DoD technical environment changes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen. This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination Department of the Army DA Civilians must successfully complete all mandatory Civilian Education System CES courses which may require travel. Qualifications Time in Grade: For entry at the GS-12 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-11 if outside the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in planning, designing, coding, testing and implementing solutions written for the Power Platform and SharePoint Online environment using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, languages like Java, JavaScript, SQL, and data connectors to several different data sources. In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of knowledge, skills and abilities, or competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position.
