Key Responsibilities:
- Financial monthly and quarterly Treasury-related closing activities
- Support for our investment accounting, reporting and controls for LLY's fixed income and equity investment holdings and transactions (second chair for fixed-income accounting and reporting)
- FX back-office trade settlement responsibilities (second chair)
- North American cash/liquidity support
- Treasury-related support of key business acquisition integration activities
- Special project work and initiatives, including system testing for upgrades, enhancements, evolving Treasury business needs and strategies
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma with five years of experience in Treasury
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
Preferences:
- FX trading platform settlement experience (e.g., FX All/Thompson Reuter's)
- Experience with banking portals (e.g., JPM Access)
- Cash management experience
- Familiarity with certain financial instruments including debt, FX forward derivatives, and Swaps (interest rate and cross-currency)
- SAP experience, especially General Accounting, P2P and O2C modules
- Strong, proven work experience encompassing majority of job responsibilities
- Strong worksheet systems skills and experience, especially with MS Excel
- Strong accounting and financial analytical skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Ability to clearly understand and manage high-volume and often complex (e.g., cross-counter party) back-office trade settlement, including banking and accounting flows
- Ability to work well cross-functionally and with broader Treasury team
- Excellent communicator with our affiliates, shared service centers and external banking partners
- Travel Percentage 0 - 5%
