SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Manager of Quality & Engineering Systems for its client in Indianapolis, IN (link removed) The person will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of procedures and programs that drive quality across the organization. This role ensures that quality is integrated throughout the product life cycle and continuously monitors system effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and maintenance of quality and engineering systems.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and hygienic practices.


• Design and implement robust quality programs and processes, spanning product, operations and facilities.


• Monitor and improve system effectiveness using metrics and data.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.


• Oversee quality audits and represent the company during customer audits.


• Manage documentation, change control, and reporting for quality systems.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.


• 10+ years of experience in a regulated environment (cGMP preferred).


• Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing and thermal processing.


• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Belt or Black Belt preferred).


• Strong project management, audit management, and communication skills.


• Ability to lead improvement initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships.
