Description:
Shift: : 5 PM -3:30 AM

Receives shipment into applicable dock bay, or drop-off location. Duties involve inspection of shipment material (e.g., BOL), validation of quality control seal and cargo, and unloading of shipment material into warehouse, or staging area

Responsibilities:

Assist with organizing BOLs and helping outside drivers with paperwork.
Assist with all documentation and administration of outbound shipments using multiple software tools including Microsoft Excel, SAP, and PINC.
SAP assistance - such as systemically moving trailers, Freight Order adjustment, inventory counting, assist floor with system information to for processing.
Maintain and develop positive business relationships with key personnel involved in or directly relevant to logistics activity.
Assist internal logistics team and TM department in working with transport providers to maintain trailer pool and develop best shipment practices.
Assist Customer Service with expedited shipments and FAQs.
Utilize methods and procedures that facilitate achievement of department financial goals.
Assist Inventory team with cycle counts, PI, SAP EWM, and other inventory maintenance when needed.
6s Safety Audits
Other related duties as assigned by management.

Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others.
Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role.

Experience:

tickets to entry (E), preferred (P), ideal (I)
(E) Prior experience in the Transportation/Logistics Industry or higher learning.
(P) Previous experience using ERP software, ideally SAP
(E) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
(E) Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
(E) Team oriented perspective; able to work well & contribute with other points of view .
(P) Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
(P) Ability to work in self-directed manner to identify needs of the organization and/or customer.
(P) Strong analytical skills
(P) Superior organizational, follow-up and follow-through skills.

Skills:

(E) Prior experience in the Transportation/Logistics Industry or higher learning.
(P) Previous experience using ERP software, ideally SAP
(E) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
