If call in on your scheduled weekend to work, will be required to make up that weekend.General InformationTell us about the unit(s):Number of Beds 37 beds; 10 are acuity/ventilator adaptableNumber of Staff 60-70 team membersType of Shift 1 charge/12-13 RN/3-4 PCA/1 HUC (may vary based on patient acuity levels).Night Shift 1 charge/12-13 RN/3-4 PCA/1 HUC (may vary based on patient acuity levels).PatientRatios 1:3-4 patients; based on acuity levels may have one or two assignments of 1:2 ratioType of equipment ventilators,bipap, high-flow/salter NC oxygen delivery. All patients are on wall mounted cardiac monitors. End-tidal CO2 monitor may be used for specific patient requirements. DKA on insulin IV gtt. Other patient populations include respiratory conditions, vasoactivegtts, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal, behavioral and substance abuse patients, renal. Emergent intubation may take place in this unit then the patient will be transferred to ahigher level of Critical Care.
