Vice President of Compliance
Fully on-site - Carmel, IN
Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 + 10-15% bonus potential

About the Client:
Our client, a leading institution in the banking industry, is seeking a seasoned VP of Compliance to join their executive team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization maintains full adherence to regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and internal policies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to drive compliance initiatives while fostering a culture of ethical conduct across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the bank's compliance strategy and framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and resolution of compliance issues.
• Provide leadership to the compliance team, driving continuous improvements in monitoring and enforcement mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, risk, and operations to embed a culture of compliance and risk management.
• Regularly update the executive team on compliance risks, strategies, and regulatory changes.
• Oversee the evaluation, monitoring, and documentation of CRA performance in line with the established strategic CRA goals.
• Assist in preparing the Compliance Department for regulatory examinations and both internal and external audits

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business
• 7+ years of experience in a senior compliance role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading compliance teams.
