Adecco Staffing is assisting our client in finding Machine Operators in Greenfield, IN.
All positions are all temp-to-hire!
Available Shifts:
Day Shift: 6am 6:30pm (Mon-Thursday), 22.00 an hour
Night Shift 6pm 6:30am (Mon-Thursday), 24.00 an hour
Weekend Day: 6am 6:30pm (Fri, Sat, Sun), 23.50 an hour Work 36 hrs but paid for 40 hrs
Weekend Night: 6pm 6:30am (Fri, Sat, Sun), 25.00 an hour Work 36 hrs but paid for 40 hrs
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safety, quality operation of his/her equipment, which includes adhering to the startup, shutdown, steady state operation, and troubleshooting of the equipment.
Expected to perform basic equipment care, which includes thorough cleaning, inspecting, and basic lubrication.
Assist with the safe, efficient changeover of his/her equipment.
During machine set-up:
o Checks or reprograms the machine for the run for that day.
o Makes all minor adjustments.
o Checks scales.
o Checks overall functions.
Ensures all necessary packaging materials, and other collateral supplies are on hand and available as required by the production schedule.
Continues to monitor the machine throughout your shift.
Makes all necessary adjustments, changeovers from one product to the next & programming of machine throughout the day as needed.
Promptly reports to the Mechanic on duty all serious equipment malfunctions and the series of events leading up to the problem.
During machine shutdown:
o Makes sure the machine is off and clean.
o Sets up for the next day s run.
o Report any problems encountered during daily run.
Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of packaging area and all equipment and supplies found therein; and
Observe and follow safety procedures.
Observe and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP)
Maintain clean work area.
Other duties as assigned.
To be selected, all Candidates MUST have:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Have an up-to-date Resume.
Must have 2 years experience in Manufacturing or other relevant work history.
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Steal toe boots.
Physical Demands:
Be able to frequently lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.
Be able to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Work Environment:
Work near moving parts
Noise level is moderate to loud.

Pay Details: 22.00 to 25.00 per hour
