Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing specialized MRI imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role includes working with advanced MRI equipment, particularly GE scanners, to capture high-quality images in areas such as cardiac, prostate, breast, neuro, and musculoskeletal (MSK). The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong adaptability, resilience, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Core Responsibilities:
Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy and high-quality images.
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Operate and maintain 3 GE MRI scanners, ensuring optimal image quality and proper equipment functioning.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including magnetic safety and patient confidentiality.

Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

Licensure/Certification:
ARRT and MRI certifications required.
Current Indiana MRI Technologist License required.
AHA BLS certification required.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.

Skills:
Proficient in cardiac, prostate, breast, neuro, and MSK MRI imaging techniques.
Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient care.
Adaptable, resilient, and able to manage change effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a social and team-oriented approach.

Work Schedule:
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40
Shift: 10-hour PM shifts, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Weekends: None
Holidays: None
Float Requirements: None
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
