We are excited to announce an opening for the Program Therapist at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital (HBH). This role is pivotal in our mission to provide exceptional psychiatric care. As a Program Therapist, you will play a vital role in our mission to address the bio-psychosocial needs of our patients. This position involves performing social services functions and guiding patients in accessing therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Your responsibilities will include offering basic consultation, delivering specialized clinical social work services, crisis intervention, and conducting short-term and long-term family therapy.

Conduct individual/couples/family counseling with a focus on engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment and services.
Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and patient responses.
Assess the psychosocial, educational, and behavioral functioning of patients and document updates.
Utilize age-specific considerations in treatment planning.
Respond promptly to social work service requests.
Contribute to the effective functioning of the patient's program and meet social work needs.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings.

Your Experience Matters What were looking for:

Education & License: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field is required. Indiana State license in social work (LSW) or mental health counseling (LMHC-A) is strongly pre-ferred; the LCSW or LMHC license is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience and strong skills in biopsychosocial assessment, treatment planning, treatment skills based on CBT methods, group therapy and discharge planning. Crisis intervention skills are also required.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role. The compensation for this role is 55,000 to 75,000 annually. Were eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Program Therapist!
