We are looking for an Equipment Assembly Associate to join our growing team!

JOB PURPOSE

The Equipment Assembly Associate will assemble and test industrial controls and mechanical systems, perform basic assembly tasksincluding electrical wiring and mechanical assemblyand accurately document product performance testing to ensure quality standards are met.

SCHEDULE

• Regular Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM EST

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Perform basic assembly tasks, including electrical and mechanical assembly following established manufacturing guidelines and plans.
• Work with and assemble motors, fans, blowers, relays, timers, PLCs, and other industrial controls, as well as related mechanical systems, ensuring proper integration and functionality during the assembly process.
• Conduct and document product performance testing to verify functionality and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Complete new employee and annual safety training.
• Clean up work area according to procedures.
• Follow 5S methodology.
• Participates in quality and continuous improvement efforts.
• Participates in team huddles.
• Participates in improvement meetings.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with proven knowledge and application.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and small power tools, following established safety protocols and procedures.

• OMI Industries manufactures odor eliminating solutions. Chemical exposure to raw materials including plant oils, fragrances, and other materials will occur.

SALARY

Starting at $17/hour

Compensation details: 16-17 Hourly Wage
