Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft-Indiana, a Nucor Company, is actively seeking individuals for a 2nd shift security position located in our St. Joe Office. Our team demonstrates a firm commitment to taking care of our customers and a strong belief in work-life balance to maintain a safe, positive and engaging environment.

This position is high paced and is responsible for many functions within the Vulcraft-Indiana Sales Service Department. The primary responsibilities are:

• Ensure compliance with all types, regulations, and company guidelines regarding the safety of visitors and carriers coming onto our facility.
• Communication and coordination with other departments relating to deliveries and visitor appointments.
• Manage Vulcraft, carrier and customer pickups to ensure accuracy.
• Communication with loading and receiving crews for timely coordination of incoming and outgoing loads.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using excel & Microsoft programs.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience working in the logistics industry.
• Highly detail oriented - Organization and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
