This is not a remote position Keys Counseling is a home-based social service agency providing services throughout Northwest Indiana. We are seeking Caseworkers to join our team at our office in South Bend, IN. We are looking for a motivated candidate who enjoys making a difference in the lives of others in their community. Keys Counseling specializes in child and family services, treating children and adults involved in the Department of Child Services or juvenile delinquency legal systems. It advocates for community safety, family preservation, and emotional healing by addressing various mental health and relationship issues with different evidence-based strategies. Caseworkers work hands-on with the clients and their families in the home and the community. Caseworkers are instrumental in implementing the treatment plan. They work to link the client and family to the resources available in their community. They focus on teaching clients to utilize those resources sustainably, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability in their lives and within the family unit. All services are provided in a manner that is culturally competent and respectful. Also, it demonstrates clients' desire to make positive, sustainable changes in their lives. Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $21.50 per hour face to face time and $10.50 per hour admin time. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc. Requirements: Minimum bachelors degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related human service field. (Other degrees with at least four years of experience working directly with families in the child welfare system will be accepted.) A valid drivers license and the ability to use a private car to transport oneself and others in compliance with state policy concerning minimum car insurance coverage. A working knowledge of or willingness to learn the Microsoft Outlook platform. Providing Home-Based, high-quality visits to children and their families to assist them with their case plan objectives. Guiding families and children through effective conflict management and resolution processes while modeling appropriate boundaries and listening skills. Fostering healthy and productive family communication. Transporting families and children to necessary appointments and meetings. Attending and contributing to child and family team meetings. Developing structured time management for children, families, and you as a professional. Teaching and implementing behavior modification techniques to support appropriate conduct. Introducing budgeting and money management skills to families to increase their ability to manage resources effectively. Maintaining working relationships with referral sources by promptly responding to all communication requests. Attending supervision, training, and other meetings as scheduled. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic case files according to program timeframes and requirements. Create and maintain a weekly schedule as dictated by clients (which may include evenings and weekends), utilizing and updating the Microsoft Outlook calendar.
