OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST ROLE:

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will organize all accounts payable documentation, including tracking down purchase orders that have not been matched. Ensure all invoices are properly documented and ready for payment processing.
• The Accounts Payable Specialist will perform reconciliations of 15 different balance sheet accounts, with a primary focus on cash accounts. Ensure accurate and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• The Accounts Payable Specialist will conduct weekly and monthly analysis on company spending, identify trends, and report findings to management for decision-making.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST:

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is strongly preferred, especially with regard to supporting ERP transitions.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
