Mechanic/Machine Builder

Cedar Falls, IA

$17-22/hour

Our client is seeking a Mechanic/Machine Builder to add to their 1st shift operations to build custom made to order machines per drawing specifications. This Mechanic must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with experience in building or mechanical repair of industrial heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom-made to order machines


• Work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instruction.


• Strong attention to detail is required.

Job Qualifications:

• High School education


• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or mechanical work experience.


• Ability to read blueprints.


• An understanding of hydraulic components and functionality.


• Basic understanding of 12V wiring.


• Use of wrenches, air tools, overhead cranes, steel handling.


• Forklift experience or ability to train and operate one.


• Frequent lifting is required.


• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
