National Sales Director CRE Financial Products Wholesale
Remote, Nationwide. (Approx. 30 days/yr travel required. Avg of one trip per month.)

Our client is a privately held national commercial real estate investment firm, with primary offices in Des Moines, Minneapolis, Dallas, Pasadena, and personnel situated remotely nationwide. The Company and its affiliates have acquired and manage over $6 Billion in net-lease CRE assets, comprised of 1,200+ properties in 47 US states, with a target of $10BN AUM aggregation within three years.

This company principally provides real estate investments to client investors structured to provide long-term, stable income and asset preservation to accredited 1031 and 1033 investors by consistently delivering diversified 1031-exchangeable Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) portfolios of both long-term, net-leased properties backed by investment-grade corporations, including value-add shopping center portfolios (VAP) with stable cash flow and upside potential. Additionally, the client has executed the registration of multiple portfolios within a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) vehicle available to institutional investors. All of these products are distributed by the Wholesale sales team to financial advisors and qualified investors

Reporting to the COO, our client is seeking a National Sales Director for the Wholesale team of about one dozen representatives nationwide. This leader will accelerate and support the raising of investor equity by the outside sales team. This will be achieved by tenaciously executing the sales strategies and direction set by the Managing Partners and Executive Leadership team in alignment with our core and operating values. The team of wholesalers is currently divided into eight territories based on geography, each of which is typically served by one external and one internal wholesaler.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Experience Minimum of 510+ years in a sales management role, preferably in an investment-related, financial services, or adjacent field.
Familiarity and comfort adopting or developing relevant and strategically aligned OKRs and KPIs aimed at effectively advancing short-, medium-, and long-term company objectives.
Proven track record of leading and developing teams to meet and exceed instrumental and ultimate sales goals.
Excellence at managing nationally distributed sales reps working remotely and traveling frequently.

Skills Excellent leadership and people management skills with executive, rather than advisory, leadership style.
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Proficient in utilizing CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and ability to rapidly adapt to innovations and new developments.
Strong self-organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Advance analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.

Knowledge Familiarity with real estate investment products preferred, especially 1031, 1033, and 721 tax-deferred exchanges, DSTs, and non-traded REITs.
Understanding of the capital markets and investment strategies preferred.
Ability to quickly master basic and advanced concepts relevant to industry context, target market segments, investment philosophy, overall platform, products, and distinctives.

Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
