Relocation to Timewell, Illinois required upon start date

Job Summary:The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality management system in accordance with the Timewell Quality Manual and NTPEP standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of ownership of the quality program and the product, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities:


  • Audit the implementation of the quality system.
  • Initiate requests for and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain and calibrate measuring and test equipment.
  • Perform inspections and testing in accordance with the quality plan.
  • Handle non-conforming products and manage their resolution.
  • Coordinate document control activities and maintain inspection records.
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance.
  • Serve as the company's representative to quality assurance and testing organizations.
  • Collaborate with engineering to set or adjust product specifications.

Occasional Duties:


  • Maintain the Quality Manual.
  • Control and maintain standards and reference documents.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports.
  • Maintain or coordinate traceability records.
  • Assist with reviewing and approving work instructions and workmanship standards.
  • Define, manage, and supervise all inspection activities.
  • Plan and schedule internal quality audits.
  • Train internal auditors.
  • Identify training needs related to the quality system, safety, and other company-wide systems and issues.

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in a quality program or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills conducive to effective professional communication.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
