Full-time direct hire - Senior Salesforce Development opportunity - MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER OR US CITIZEN. NO C2C. Open to remote if you reside in the Midwest (except Illinois).

35 HOUR work week - base salary up to 140K plus bonus.

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Salesforce Developer to join a high-performing team tasked with leading the development and architecture of their cloud-based CRM product. We define senior as someone with the ability to be a tech lead - you don't have to have architecture experience, but it would be a plus if you've dabbled AND would like to have architecture responsibilities in your next role. This new hire will fill a key gap in expertise around custom development and architecture. Currently, the client operates one Salesforce organization focusing on B2C, but they are in the process of securing approval for expansion into B2B. The ideal candidate will bring architectural and development expertise to help scale the CRM system for future business growth.

In the first six months, the role will focus on understanding the existing Salesforce environment, including its architecture, integrations, and business processes. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, admins, and other teams, they will assess current pain points and performance bottlenecks and identify opportunities for improvement. Early tasks will include building a roadmap for scalable Salesforce architecture, enhancing core functionality, and driving developments that optimize business operations. The person in this role will be responsible for architecting high-level solutions that align with the companys business objectives. This will involve advanced customizations such as Apex development, Lightning Web Components, integrations with external systems, and automating processes that cannot be achieved through standard Salesforce tools. Focusing on these areas will ensure smooth day-to-day operations and lay the foundation for long-term scalability and performance.
Additionally, they'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements. Another component of the role will be mentoring other team members.

The types of projects envisioned for this role include architecting solutions that integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and data warehouses to enable seamless data flow, building advanced customizations using Apex and Lightning Web Components, automating business processes to drive productivity, and designing systems that allow Salesforce to scale efficiently with the business.
