Production Manager Opportunity!

A local, top-performing, and fast-paced manufacturer is looking for a Production Manager. In this key role, the Production Manager oversees production operations in one or more sections of the facility-or owns it all, depending aptitude. This position manages the staff, materials, production schedule, and reviews productivity on every level with the Production, Operations, and Leadership Team.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Directly responsible for multiple departments and their respective Supervisors, Team Leads, and Production Scheduler.
• Schedule day-to-day assignments and ensures execution of communicated priorities.
• Provide hands-on leadership and training to production team members
• Lead, motivate, and support the production team.
• Oversee employee training assignments, ensuring training compliance.
• Ensure the accuracy of all documentation through periodic reviews throughout the production process.
• Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and compliance.
• Continually review workflow to improve efficiencies of the production line.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Plant Manager for the overall benefit of the organization.
• Present weekly to company leadership department's KPI's, schedule misses and reasons why, improvement projects, etc.
• Owns the Gemba walk of the departments - enables growth of supervisors to present key topics.

Production Manager Qualifications:

• 5 years of related experience required, preferably in a similar Production Manager or Management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with proven track record of successful leadership.
• Proficient in conflict resolution, assessing needs and making decisions.
• Well-versed with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems.
