We are a partnered with a large scale cattle company that is committed to supporting local producers in maximizing their production while promoting sustainable practices. We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Field Manager to join our team and work directly with producers across Northeast Iowa.

Position Overview:
As the Field Manager, you will be responsible for visiting livestock operations, assessing their current practices, and providing tailored recommendations to enhance productivity and efficiency. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of beef and dairy farming operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct on-site visits to livestock producers in Northeast Iowa.
  • Evaluate operational practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance production and profitability.
  • Collaborate with producers to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural community.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in livestock management.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience working on a beef or dairy farm.
  • Familiarity with Total Mixed Ration (TMR) feeding practices.
  • Knowledge of performance beef software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within Northeast Iowa.
