Talent Acquisition Partner
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to effectively recruit, screen, and hire qualified candidates to meet business needs. By partnering with leaders in using best practices and strategies, you'll help us hire the talent to help Farm Bureau succeed.
What You'll Do:
• Communicate with hiring managers to conduct a thorough assessment of talent needs, and effectively gather and articulate the story of a position, the expectations, the parameters, and any relevant factors.
• Understand and promote our employment brand; leverage the brand in all aspects of talent acquisition.
• Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, social recruiting and other community events and activities to provide exposure for our jobs and organization, and to network in sourcing candidates.
• Leverage recruiting system technology to communicate effectively with managers, candidates, and others in the hiring processes, and effectively carry out talent acquisition workflows.
• Be proactive in utilizing systems, social media, and other available resources to source talent and build talent pools. Research, evaluate, and connect with high quality candidates, both active and passive.
• Coordinate communications and interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Conduct or arrange appropriate assessments, interviews, background checks, or other selection processes, inform the manager's selection decisions, and present the job offer. Follow up as needed to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• As a Farm Bureau brand ambassador, present a positive impression of the company by speaking intelligently of the business, history, brand and value proposition.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- College degree (secondary education preferred) or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for all levels of the organization, with a strong preference for experience in sourcing/recruiting for technical positions.
- Experience in the use of social media and other networking methods to proactively source candidates.
- Excellent communication skills including interview experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll manage and prioritize many tasks
- You must be a team player who understands the value we place on relationships with our business leaders and our candidates.
