What You'll Do: As an LPN at WRC, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and support. Your responsibilities will include: Assess and meticulously document healthcare needs using innovative methods such as completing Incident Reports and utilizing the SOAP (Subjective Objective Assessment Plan) charting method. Implement preventative healthcare practices including routine checks, immunizations, and lab orders to ensure the well-being of our individuals. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to deliver tailored nursing care and support. Facilitate annual ISP meetings, Monthly Integrated Reviews, and Quarterly Psychiatric Treatment Reviews in the absence of the RN. Ensure accurate medication administration procedures and provide necessary training to new employees on Health and Safety Support Plans. Participate actively in code blue drills and maintain proficiency in Health Care Provider CPR. Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in all aspects of your work. Key Competencies: Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate the following competencies: Proficiency in practical nursing techniques, procedures, and theory. Sound knowledge of physical illnesses, symptoms, treatments, and medical terminology. Ability to lead and coordinate the work of assistive personnel effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients. Strong emotional intelligence to handle stressful situations with composure and professionalism.
