Portfolio or Relationship Manager / Senior Credit Analyst

A financial client of gpac's has a rare opening on its loan team! This well-respected and truly community-oriented bank group confidentially seeks a proven growing Credit Analyst or Portfolio manager to take over a portfolio, help on the credit side extensively, and start adding a FEW loans here and there in the CRE space in the Kansas City, Kansas area. If you've been golden-handcuffed to your credit role and are itching to make this type of a move, this could be what you are looking for! The loan officers are starting to fade off into the sunset with clean, solid books and the best customers you ever met!

This company puts its "money where its mouth is" with time for team members to be actively involved in the communities that they serve! Historically, this is not an insatiable bottomless pit of loan goals and heavy call plans, but practical, relational lending with great companies and a common-sense, quick turnaround loan culture.

Current Experience Requirements:


  • Completed 4-year college degree, preferably in Accounting, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 5 years in an active Credit analyst, Portfolio Manager or Relationship manager role
  • Team mindset
  • Ability to make the loan officers look good, methodical history of credit decisions
  • CRE commercial real estate credit and underwriting experience


  • Must have a proven track record in business development
  • Knowledge of Bank regulations regarding lending and debt collection
  • Need to be from a community bank or credit union atmosphere and be involved in local communities
