Job description

This is a clinical position at The Lighthouse Sober Solutions that is responsible for providing counseling services for individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnosis. This position maintains a client caseload, following established treatment guidelines and agency policies and procedures. Our therapists provide therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, with emphasis on substance use issues, individually matched to the needs of each client served. This position will report to the Clinical Director.

Background check - over three years since prior conviction

TB skin test: Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year.

Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile.

Must have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.

Must have an LCADC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, CADC or CSW credential.

Prefer 2 years' experience in chemical dependency .

Position Summary : Responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of each client and for ensuring the highest level of care is provided. Deliver, coordinate, and monitor services to assist client in developing stability to return to the community and reach their full potential .

Skill sets : Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate non-judgmental and non-biased disposition towards clients. Maintaining encouraging and supportive working relationships with supervisors and clients. Participate in the initiation,

coordination and implementation of referral plans. Follow-through, monitor and evaluate

activities related to the recovery of the client.

Job responsibilities :

1. Provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families and stakeholders.

2. Help maintain the health, safety and welfare of personnel, person served and

stakeholders.

3. Ensure the agency is operating under AODE & BHSO standards.

4. Ensure the company adheres to the state and federal licensure and regulations.

5. Conduct client screenings, assessments, intakes, and referral services.

6. Provide individual and group services for clients with substance use disorders and other

presenting problems in Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient setting.

7. Prepare treatment plans, write SMART goals and objectives.

8. Work as part of a multi-discipline team with emphasis on brief, goal-oriented therapy.

9. Consult and educate in the community and with agencies such as law enforcement,

industry community-based services.

10. Client Advocacy.

11. In collaboration with other staff and initiate and maintain complete up-to-date client records including but not limited to client files, incident reports, and discharge plans.

12. Collaborate with facility staff in program development and client consultation. Provides counseling, feedback, and education to all clients in collaboration with other members of the Leadership team.

13. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
