POSITION TITLE: Program Manager - Alternate to Detention

LOCATION: Louisville, KY & Various sites (Fayette, Warren and Daviess)

STATUS: Full Time, Salaried, Exempt

PROGRAM: Restorative Justice

REPORTS TO: VOA Justice Director

JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of the VOA Justice regional operations for the designated catchment area. This position will be responsible for the expansion of Alternative to Detention across the state.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:

1. Supervises long-term strategies that consists of multiple smaller projects.

2. Implements program strategies.

3. High-level management and leadership skills.

4. Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively.

5. Conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.

6. Risk management.

7. Written and verbal communication skills.

8. Assisting in establishing budgets and managing budgets.

9. Promoting teamwork while recognizing individuals.

10. High level case management and restorative justice practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversees the VOA Restorative Justice project site.

2. Maintains case load of cases consistent with projects, restorative justice and case management processes and contact schedule, in catchment area.

3. Implements and/or supervises activities within specific program areas as directed by the Director.

4. Provides weekly supervision and ongoing staff meetings for the VOA Restorative Justice staff.

5. Coordinates office schedules to ensure staff availability to meet the varied needs of clients.

6. Develops and monitors schedules to meet all program and grant requirements.

7. Maintains risk reduction standards for all office sites.

8. Participates in weekly individual staff and ongoing program supervisory meetings.

9. Attends assigned professional meetings and seminars as appropriate and funded.

10. Provides strong visible leadership in the implementation of the VOA Restorative projects.

11. Monitors and maintains reporting requirements of all grants and funding sources.

12. Requires travel to project sites and may require out-of-state travel.

13. Attends and represents agency/program on appropriate agency and local committees, as directed by the Director.

14. Works with referral sources to ensure continuity of referrals.

15. Monitors reporting processes to maintain fidelity of the project standards, grant reporting and agency standards.

16. Reviews program and grant data, outcomes, goals, and progress of requirements quarterly and provide reports to the Director.

17. Monitors progress of clients' individualized case plans requirements.

18. Completes Supervisory Case and Client Record Reviews for all assigned staff.

19. Maintains QA standards through assigned processes.

20. Monitors the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) process as assigned by the Director.

21. Assist and support all VOA Restorative Justice project sites including case management and travel.
