A Day in the Life:
The Home of the Innocents, Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center is a skilled nursing facility providing short-term, long-term, and respite care for pediatric residents with diverse medical, developmental, and physical needs, including congenital abnormalities, traumatic injuries, developmental disabilities, self-harming behaviors, seizures, and complex respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

We are seeking RNs and LPNs on the following units:
• Pediatric Ventilator Unit
• Medical Fragile Respiratory Unit
• Intellectual/Developmental Disability Unit
You will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and compassionate care for residents at our Kosair for Kids Complex Center(KCC).
RN or LPN Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with 30, and 36-hour lines available
2nd Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with 30, and 36-hour lines available, shift differential available

RN or LPN Responsibilities:
• Provide care per physician orders and standards
• Perform nursing assessments at shift changes and as needed
• Regularly review care plans for adherence
• Administer interventions per protocols
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation
• Supervise and support CNAs
• Communicate patient updates to supervisors, physicians, and families
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance resident health
• Respect resident rights and privacy
• Attend meetings, in-services, and training
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
RN or LPN Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing, required
• Unencumbered and current Commonwealth of Kentucky LPN or RN License, required
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification, required
• Minimal 6 months experience as a direct care nurse in an acute care or long-term care setting, preferred
• Cardiopulmonary nursing and/or ventilator experience, strongly preferred
• Pediatric and/or long term care experience, preferred
