Job Description


Reports To: Executive Housekeeper

Collaborates With: General Manager



POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The House Attendant works to support BryantCorp's vision of building better communities through beautiful spaces. The House Attendant assists the hotel General Manager, and Assistant General Manager to accomplish the goals of the company.

The House Attendant position is to maintain a high level of cleanliness in common areas and to replenish guest amenities according to the standards set by Hilton.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, followthrough, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for:

  • Timely response to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Always provides a professional image through appearance, dress, and attitude.
  • Able to multi-task & prioritize.
  • Remove all trash that originates from guest rooms placed in hallways.
  • Remove trash from hallways and ice machine areas.
  • Clean floors, walls, and ice machines.
  • Clean elevators, stairwells and remove trash.
  • Be able to clean, strip beds and remove trash from guest rooms.
  • Pick up debris and vacuum hallways.
  • Stock towels at pool and fitness center daily.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms when requested.
  • End shift by walking assigned areas to remove any large items of trash, etc. from hallways.
  • Wash entryway rugs as needed.
  • Clean spills and marks off hallway walls as needed.
  • Report any issues or work orders.
  • Able to complete minor maintenance requests.
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude with guests at all times.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Assist Maintenance & Housekeeping as requested.
  • Any other area assigned by management.
