Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of power distribution systems, is seeking a Planner Scheduler to join their team. As a Planner Scheduler, you will be part of the Operations team supporting Quotation, Engineering, Materials Procurement, Production, and Shipping. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in planning and forecasting, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Planner Scheduler
Location: Belle Chasse LA
Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000/year

What's the Job?

  • Oversee and coordinate project schedules, key milestones, and production plans across multiple departments, from purchase order to final shipment.
  • Create, update, and communicate the Master Schedule and due dates across departments using a shared platform.
  • Align project priorities based on customer needs, internal stakeholders, and leadership guidance.
  • Collaborate with department leads, sales, and project management to ensure milestone invoicing is on track.
  • Monitor project progress to meet deadlines, resolve bottlenecks, and proactively address scheduling conflicts.

What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or AA degree required, Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
  • Advanced experience in planning, forecasting, and production processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Experience coordinating schedules across multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and basic financial principles preferred.
