Job Number: R Program Manager, Lead The Opportunity: As a weapon systems program manager, your knowledge is key when it comes to planning, designing, and building critical weapon systems ensuring an effective national defense. The primary objective of this requirement will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all te chn ical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions. As a program manager on our team, you will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals and be responsible for leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception through startup, execution, and completion. You'll manage the cost, schedule, and te chn ical performance of company programs or subsystems, working seamlessly with the team to cultivate customer relationships and intimacy, develop strategic plans and operate in an Agile environment, establish a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements, and collaborate across teams to ensure effectiveness. You will lead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams ( IPT ) to meet program cost, schedule, and te chn ical performance objectives, while measuring and reporting program performance and delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders. You will assist with the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budget s, schedule milestones, and key terms and c ond itions. You will establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test, and be responsible for identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements. You will establish and manage program and subordinate baselines, analyze and adhere to budget baselines using Earned Value Management ( EVM ) or similar cost and schedule control methodologies and tools, and identify, allocate, and manage program resources, including workforce planning. You will manage government and customer supplied property or information suppliers to meet program objectives and adhere to all internal processes, policies , and industry standards. You will ensure the program team understands and adheres to contract scope. You will manage change through control board activities, develop and adhere to master plans and schedules, and c ond uct thorough risk and opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation, and realization. You Have: 20+ years of experience managing multiple programs or projects with 25+ FTEs across the acquisition life cycle, including te chn ical quality, cost, schedule, and performance oversight Experience managing nuclear projects that include numerous workstreams requiring adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly Experience as a primary interface with executive level clients and managing executive level communications, reporting, and development of programmatic strategies and plans Experience planning, organizing, and making recommendations on nuclear program milestones, resourcing, and key decision points Knowledge of DoD contracting procedures and contracting vehicles Ability to perform risk assessments to identify, define, and analyze program or project issues in terms of probability and consequences Ability to resolve problems with minimal disruption to the activities being performed under the contract Ability to produce and execute an integrated master schedule to meet program needs Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Agile methodologies Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Master's degree Project Management Professional ( PMP ) , Acquisition Professional Development Program ( APDP ) , or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act ( DAWIA ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
