Job description

A well-known, stable home builder is looking to add a Residential Construction Estimator to their growing team!

Residential Construction Estimator Core Responsibilities Include:


  • Responsible for developing accurate and complete job estimates.
  • Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating prices.
  • Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
  • Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Residential Construction Estimator Skills and Qualifications:


  • 3 years of Estimating Experience within residential construction
  • Knowledge of various estimating software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
