Field Engineer II Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Engineer II to support offshore and marine operations by providing technical expertise, engineering support, and field supervision. This role involves working closely with project teams, vessel crews, and clients to ensure the successful execution of offshore operations, maintenance activities, and project requirements. The Field Engineer II will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Field Engineer II Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during field operations, coordinating with onshore engineering teams as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, equipment logs, and inspection records.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of offshore projects, ensuring resources, personnel, and equipment are aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vessel crews, and client representatives to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and safety audits to promote a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and any deviations from planned schedules or budgets.

Field Engineer II Position Requirements

  • 4-year accredited engineering degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • EIT preferred (ENGINEER IN TRAINING The EIT License and Certification is a professional designation you receive after passing the NCEES FE exam (Fundamentals of Engineering exam) and completing a degree from an ABET-accredited school. "EIT" is an acronym that stands for Engineer-in-Training.
