Anesthesiology Opening in Lake Charles, LA
Beaumont TX 1hr; Baton Rouge 2 hr

Seeking General Anesthesiologist, but Cardiac experience is a plus.
Approximate hours: 6:30am noon or could be until 5:00pm. (there is always one late physician until 5:00pm) if on nights, come in at 5:00pm and finish any cases left from the day but are still on-call until 6:00am for 7 days
Employed
Established Anesthesiology team including 7 Physicians and more than 20 CRNAs
Surgical Case Variety: OB/GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urologic, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma ( Level III)
Regarding Pediatrics Typically 3 4 weeks is the youngest. Occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis
No epidurals at the main campus, all done by CRNAs at the Womens Campus
Two facility locations: 315 bed Main Campus Hospital and multidisciplinary Women and Childrens Hospital
Main Campus has 16 ORs and a 5 room Endoscopy suite
Womens Campus has 6 ORs
No In-House call
Day, Float/Night Float system
Average of 1 weekend call per month
CRNA oversight
