Service Technician-Pipeline Job Summary

We are seeking a Pipeline Service Technician to be responsible for performing maintenance, inspection, and repair activities on pipelines to ensure safe and efficient operations. The technician will work as part of a team to support various pipeline service projects, including cleaning, testing, and troubleshooting pipeline systems. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and a willingness to work in diverse field conditions.

Service Technician-Pipeline Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, coating, and repairing pipelines to prevent leaks and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of pipeline systems to identify potential issues. Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Address mechanical failures, leaks, and other operational issues. Perform necessary repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in pipeline service operations, including pumps, compressors, and inspection tools. Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered.
  • Work closely with other technicians, supervisors, and clients to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow environmental regulations and best practices to minimize the impact of operations on the surrounding environment.
  • Be prepared to work in various field conditions, including remote locations and challenging weather.

Service Technician-Pipeline Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-4 years of Completions Service experience preferred
