The Ross Manor campus provides three professional levels of care and support for residents including assisted living , skilled rehabilitation and complete nursing care services. Hourly Rate $30.00 - $35.00 $3,000 Hiring Bonus Ross Manor makes available an every weekend scheduling option to a nurse in the nursing department; a limited number of these positions will be available for staff to apply to. This program operates under the following guidelines: 1. In order to be eligible to participate, the employee must make a commitment to enroll in the program to work every weekend 12hr night shift, 12hr day shift or 8hr evening shift, depending on availability of positions. 2. For the purpose of defining this program: a. For 12hr shifts: the "weekend" begins on Friday morning at 6:00 A.M. and ends on Monday morning at 6:30 A.M. b. For 8hr evening shift: the "weekend" begins on Friday at 2:00pm and ends on Monday at 10:30pm. 3. This will be a 32-36 hour position and will have $5 per hour differential for hours worked under this program. 4. As with all differentials, this premium differential is not included in the calculation of overtime, holiday, or Earned Benefit Time (EBT) pay. 5. Shift differentials are applicable per Ross Manor's policy. 6. Employees are permitted to work additional hours during non-weekend time at their regular base rate, plus any applicable shift differentials as appropriate. Anytime worked over 40 hours will be paid the overtime rate. 7. Employees participating in this program are allowed to take time off just as any other employee, however the bonus rate will not be applied to use of Earned Benefit Time; this includes vacation, sick time, and holidays. 8. Employee time requests must be made in writing prior to the next schedule posting and must be approved by the Director of Nurses. Any time requested after the schedule is posted you are required to find your own coverage and receive approval from the Director of Nursing Services. 9. If an employee's agreement is terminated due to performance, attendance, or not meeting the program's shift requirements, we reserve the right to not renew the agreement. 10. First Atlantic Healthcare and/or Ross Manor reserve the right to terminate this program at any time without advanced notice, we will make every effort to provide at least two weeks' notice. 11. As you are accepting a position, two weeks' notice is required should you want to be considered for another schedule or shift assignment. 12. All other First Atlantic Attendance Policies are also applicable. Opportunities available for all levels of experience, including new Licensed Practical Nurse grads! LPN Job Summary LPNs work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and record all resident interactions to develop thorough documentation about their care. They help prepare residents for procedures and assist with routine recovery care after initial treatment. LPNs usually work with several residents at once and administer care according to a schedule, upholding medical routines and procedures. Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to: Monitor resident's vitals and record them in their file Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each resident, including bathing, feeding and dressing Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication Update resident records in a confidential manner Evaluate the resident's wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff Explain treatments and procedures to resident and families Change dressings and bandages, ensuring residents are healing properly Move residents from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys Requirements: Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Currently licensed as an LPN in Maine.
