Overview:

Saco Bay Kids is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kennebunk, ME

We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multi-disciplinary team in Kennebunk, ME. At Saco Bay Kids, we take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, including empowering caregivers and children to live their lives to the fullest. The preferred candidate for this position will have their CCC's, however we will consider a CF who has done a clinical rotation in pediatrics.

Our therapists are well versed in the evaluation and treatment of speech sound disorders, expressive-receptive language, early intervention, fluency and AAC. We value a multi-disciplinary approach and working closely with patients, families and a team of speech-pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists to promote development of speech and language skills.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and part-time are also available

Compensation: Salary starting at $55k based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs
Provides ongoing evaluation of patient's status and goals
Develops comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes
Coordinates treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
Attends appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination
To provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients
Qualifications:
Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
State licensure/registration where appropriate.ASHA certification is required.
300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
