Utility Worker
Microwave Techniques Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-power microwave components. Responsibilities:
Deburring, sanding, and blending parts using hand tools, air and power tools.
Lapping flange faces flat
Tumble parts
Sandblast parts using a cabinet sandblaster
Clean and wash parts
Some light assembly
Qualifications:
Detail oriented
Ability to read and follow instructions
Must be able to use files, sanding sticks, sandpaper, air grinders and air sanders, hand drills and bench grinders
Communication skills, verbal and written
Will teach how to use dial calipers and read prints
Prior experience with metal finishing helpful
Previous experience in an ISO certified facility helpful
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50 pounds
The shift in Gorham, Maine is Monday through Friday 6am 2:30pm.
