Voca is seeking a travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Presque Isle, Maine.

General Information: Beds: 89 in the facility Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, would prefer that be inpatient experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types: Mostly adults/geriatrics, very few peds Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, renal issues, GI issues, vented patients, tube feeds, TPN, aggressive nutritional therapy (need to be able to assess needs and recommend best formula/rate) Patients seen in a day: 8-13 with varying needs Required Licensure & Certifications: Licensure: RD or RDN, and Licensed Dietician for the state of Maine BLS Skills required: Basic diet education: diabetes, GI conditions, heart health, high protein/high calorie, wound education. Nutrition focused physical examination/malnutrition assessment, inpatient experience, working with multi-disciplinary care team, PES statement, EMR charting experience (does not need to be Cerner necessarily) Support on the Unit: Manager Part time RD Nutrition Aids in the kitchen Outpatient facility nearby Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner Floating: If yes, where? If they have experience with outpatient, could float to that area Orientation: 1 week, more if needed Scheduling: Weekend rotation: None On call? No Holiday Expectations: Possibility of working a holiday in the contract Approval of RTO: up to 7 days Shift times: Schedule cycle: Monday - Friday
