Our client is seeking a skilled Global Automation Engineer - Controls to join their global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for PLC upgrades, working closely with IT teams, senior stakeholders, and integrating systems to Manufacturing Execution Systems

Description

  • Design, implement, and oversee PLC upgrades across various locations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide solutions.
  • Integrate PLC systems with MES for enhanced manufacturing operations.
  • Add instrumentation to existing systems for improved data collection and analysis.
  • Lead and support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Manage capital budgets effectively, optimizing costs and resources.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming, upgrades, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of MES systems and their integration with PLC controls.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, as needed.
  • Certifications in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Experience working in a global team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in controls engineering.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).
