Job Title: Operations Research Analyst Intermediate I Security Clearance: Secret Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience Requirement: Minimum of five (5) years of experience preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT (Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools). Experience must be with DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), Project Manager (O6 PM), or Product Manager (O5 PdM). Job Description: The Operations Research Analyst Intermediate I will perform a wide variety of cost analysis assignments critical for supporting program life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and program office estimates (POE). This role requires strong analytical abilities and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Key Responsibilities: Conduct cost analysis assignments to support the development of life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and program office estimates (POE). Develop or evaluate cost assessments and cost positions related to systems development, demonstration, and production approaches. Assess the impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) that can withstand Army and DoD level reviews. Serve as a working leader to lower-grade personnel, providing expert technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Review, assist, and mentor lower-grade employees' work to ensure quality and accuracy. Coordinate work efforts with Contract Officer Representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications and requirements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cost estimating, specifically using ACEIT. Skills: Strong analytical abilities; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; effective communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; familiarity with cost analysis tools and methodologies.
