RSC2 Inc. is seeking a skilled Test Lead SETA with expertise in Aerostat systems, sensors, and payloads to support our PD Aerostat customer. The Test Engineer will define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests for new and/or modified Aerostat systems and components. This role involves investigating and resolving operational problems in collaboration with other engineering and technical personnel, providing technical support and advice to engineering groups, and guiding lower-level personnel in test setups and performance. Additionally, the Test Engineer will act as a liaison with outside suppliers, devise testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies from vendors, and contribute to the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs. Requirements Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Military experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
Demonstrable knowledge of test engineering concepts applied to Army acquisition support, specifically with Aerostat systems, sensors, and payloads.
Extensive experience in test automation and result analysis.
Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test specifications for Aerostat systems.
Experience in design reviews and providing customer-centric input for Aerostat technologies.
Familiarity with network topologies for validating functionality, performance, stability, and scalability of Aerostat systems.
Integration, test, verification, and validation expertise with Aerostat components.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to work with diverse disciplines and varying degrees of technical experience.
Participation in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution.
Understanding of Army acquisition processes and lifecycle support for Aerostat systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Prior work on Army acquisition programs or similar DoD initiatives involving Aerostat systems.
Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms.
Familiarity with cloud and edge computing and networks as they pertain to Aerostat systems.Methodologies: Understanding of the design and deployment of Aerostat-related network systems.
