Job description

Overview Bowhead seeks a Senior Lead Training Specialist for an upcoming opportunity with PEO C3T at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. Incumbents are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Serves as technical advisor/instructor/team leader applying an intensive practical knowledge of PEO C3T training devices, electronics, and networks to those who will be using and supporting such items. Leads the development of training materials and conducts classes in proper operation and maintenance procedures to PEO C3T programs and various agencies within the Department of Defense. Provides resident and on-site technical assistance and training (both platform and hands-on) in the operation and maintenance of assigned systems and associate items to gaining audits/installations in/from CONUS and OCONUS locations. Instructs on the theory of operation along with Operation of the complete system to include electronics, computer programming, and analysis of malfunction reports, system trouble shooting, and repair up to depot level. Prepares new training materials to include lesson plans, POIs, student guides/workbooks, training aids, etc. Establishes early and continuous working relationships with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and appropriate development and production activities during the development of training materials. Maintains the training materials in a current, up-to-date condition, working closely with maintenance and engineering. Provides responses and answers to questions/problems from the field. Identifies the best approach training requirements, to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examination, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior based assessment and performance, team and unit assessment and measurement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Communications or related field Ten (10) years of training experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing NET and IKPT. Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
