Job description

Overview: We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategy Consultant to join our team. This role involves working closely with senior U.S. Government officials, helping to shape national and international cybersecurity policies and strategies. You'll play a key role in coordinating efforts across various government departments and agencies, as well as documenting policies and processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting services at an executive level, assisting in the development and coordination of cybersecurity initiatives.
- Support the creation and documentation of national and international cybersecurity policies.
- Coordinate activities and events related to cybersecurity, working with the White House National Security Council and various government departments.
- Prepare summary documents for meetings and track progress on cybersecurity-related tasks.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions to identify and prioritize cybersecurity initiatives.
- Collaborate with NSA, USCYBERCOM, and other agencies to develop cybersecurity documents and briefings.
- Research and advise on concepts that could influence future national cybersecurity policies. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on National Security Policy and Strategy.
- Strong background in at least four of the following areas: legislative processes, interdepartmental collaboration, analysis of capabilities and requirements, performance management, process improvement, team facilitation, and program analysis. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Telecommunications Technology, or National Security Policy. About the Office: You will be part of the National Policy and Strategy office within the NSA Cybersecurity Directorate. This office, established in 2007, is pivotal in addressing the nation's emerging cybersecurity challenges.
