Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our team, where you will play a critical role in collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets to support data-driven decision-making. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models, implement analytic solutions, and extract meaningful insights that drive business success. What You'll Do: •Collect, clean, transform, and process large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. •Apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract valuable insights from complex datasets. •Develop and maintain risk patterns to perform predictive analysis and support strategic decision-making. •Create compelling data visualizations to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Work with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark or Hadoop, to manage and analyze large-scale datasets. •Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and techniques in data analytics to implement the most effective solutions. •Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and relevant regulations in all data analytics activities. •Collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into practical data solutions, supporting mission-critical operations. What You Bring: •Active Secret Clearance (required due to contract). •U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship (required by contract). •Willingness to support systems requiring 24x7x365 uptime, including participating in an on-call schedule. •7+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools and languages. •Experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL) and knowledge of common software tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, and VMware. •Expertise in Big Data and Cloud technologies, and familiarity with tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop. •Ability to work proactively and independently, supporting geographically diverse locations in mission-critical environments. •A Bachelor's degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
