Senior Systems Engineer Company: Einstein Technologies, Incorporated (ETI) Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Job Summary: Einstein Technologies, Incorporated (ETI) is actively seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with extensive experience and a proactive approach to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is pivotal for providing sophisticated engineering solutions that enhance national security. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will apply your deep knowledge and expertise across various domains of system engineering to develop robust solutions that meet our high standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the compatibility of production systems with various architectures including DoDAF and SOA.
Lead the development of crucial system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capability Documents, and Interface Control Documents.
Assist in the development and allocation of system and functional requirements across hardware, software, and facility components.
Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and other cross-discipline reviews.
Participate actively in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities, considering all necessary development and operational considerations.
Allocate and manage real-time process budgets and error budgets for system and subsystem components.
Develop system design solutions that satisfy requirements and fulfill functional analysis.
Engage in the full lifecycle of system development from requirements elicitation to system integration and testing.
Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for system verification against requirements in a written plan.
Develop comprehensive SOA solutions and establish operational, technical standards, and system and services views for architectures using applicable DoDAF standards.
Provide technical direction for complex hardware/software system engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Proficient in managing and implementing system engineering processes across the lifecycle of a project including requirement specification, system design, integration, and validation.
Strong understanding and practical application of DoDAF and SOA architectures.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) additional years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Desired Skills: Expertise in data flow management.
Knowledge in networking and/or hardware.
Experience in the development and review of JCIDS documentation.
Ability to conduct quantitative analysis in non-functional system performance areas like reliability, maintainability, and vulnerability.
Working Conditions: This role requires the ability to handle multiple projects and engage with various team members and stakeholders effectively.
