Apply in 60 seconds at Summary: New contract (possible eight years!) seeking senior-level Software Developer Qualifications & Compensation: $280K/yr+ (1840 hours/year) Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. A bachelor's degree and two (2) additional years of SWE experience OR six (6) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a master's degree. Fifteen (15) years of applicable design and development experience is required. Twelve (12) years direct experience leading teams of software design and development for collection systems and components is required. ITILv3, ITILv4, or ITILv5 Certification at any level will meet the requirement, i.e., Foundation, Managing Professionals, Strategic Leaders, etc. Requires DoD 8570 compliance Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. Job Description: Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories Applies knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM and/or Service Portal. Codes with programming languages and databases including HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project Interacts with project customers and stakeholders to report project status and manage subsystems requirements. Researches, evaluates, and assesses software tools and technologies, such as Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS), Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), and incorporates those findings into the overall software system design.
