The Industrial Security Analyst will directly support restricted programs in relation to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Support a fast-paced, high profile program security environment. Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Maintain internal and external personnel security files, folders, and databases in support of NGMS restricted programs. Administer the personnel security program and procedures for classified efforts as directed by program security management. Support security education training and awareness activities as needed. Study manuals outlining regulations, and help streamline procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conduct security education classes and related briefings. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. This is an entry level industrial security position dedicated to the NGMS BWI personnel security program. The chosen candidate will work in a team environment and review, request, update, maintain, and safeguard personnel security information to include CUI and PII information. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills; the ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion; and the ability to maintain composure and flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Administrative, customer service, and data entry experience or 0 years with a Master's Degree; an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (This requires US Citizenship.) Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualification: Personnel security experience in support of military, DOD, or IC customers. Secret clearance. Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Business Administration, Industrial Security, Homeland Security, or Cyber Security. OPSEC program experience Self-starter with minimal supervision Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Classification review experience Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures
Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
