This Enterprise architecture serves as a gateway for the deployment of new network, enterprise software, and SIGINT applications into a custom global collaboration environment. Job Description: We're seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Engineer to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Windows environment. This is an opportunity for a technical expert to make an immediate impact by contributing to our advanced enterprise global IT environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, ready to lead, and experienced in troubleshooting and optimizing Windows systems to meet dynamic and complex requirements. Key Responsibilities: System Management & Troubleshooting: Develop, implement, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Windows-based IT systems to meet rigorous operational and security standards. Active Directory & VDI Expertise: Manage and support Active Directory environments and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for optimized system performance and security. System Tuning & Optimization: Ensure peak system performance through effective tuning of technology components and configurations. Project Leadership: Lead medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions that align with project requirements. Technical Briefings: Deliver clear, concise technical briefs to stakeholders, translating complex technical details into accessible insights. Installation & Upgrades Management: Oversee the installation, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Windows environment, ensuring consistent and effective system operation. Comprehensive Support: Provide end-to-end support across end-user and server environments, resolving issues and enhancing the user experience. Desired Skills and Experience: Active Directory and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience. Proven ability in system tuning for Windows-based technologies. Project management skills, particularly in leading and delivering medium to large-scale technical projects. Ability to deliver technical briefs to both technical and non-technical audiences. Comprehensive experience in installation, upgrades, maintenance, and support for Windows environments. Familiarity with both end-user and server environments to provide effective, holistic support and solutions. The Level 3 ITE shall possess the following capabilities: Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of complex and diverse IT systems to meet requirements. Works independently or part of a team on advanced technologies analysis projects. Reviews and tests systems for adherence to requirements and documents test results. Resolve tickets and problem reports on specific technologies and hardware/software components to include COTS/GOTS products from the system level to individual hardware/software components. Recommends new technologies and processes for complex systems. Coordinates system installations and monitors equipment functioning. Identifies system requirements for operations and security, and works with other engineers and staff to develop design and integrate components Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Alternatively: A Master's degree in a relevant field may substitute for 2 years of experience, reducing the total required IT engineering experience to 10 years. Alternatively: Four (4) additional years of IT Engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, requiring 16 years of relevant experience without a degree. 12+ years of experience as an IT Engineer, supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government. Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange and demonstrated ability to manage enterprise IT systems. Certification: Must have a Security + certification Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
