Time to talk with our client! The work, and what you'll do: This role involves working as part of a team to design, develop, and deploy a state-of-the-art technology stack for a government agency. You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of a containerized microservices architecture, as well as technical systems administration and configuration. You'll also play a key role in fostering a DevOps culture and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient and effective operations. Responsibilities include: - Design, deploy, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture. - Enhance and improve CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes. - Design, develop, and support scalable infrastructure. - Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments. - Collaborate with System Engineers to design solutions and provide technical input to systems engineering documentation. - Participate in Agile release planning and other meetings. What you'll need: - BS+ 8 years of experience in similar roles - Proficiency in Linux environments. and experience with containerization or container orchestration tools (Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes). - Development experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java) - Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with these technologies are a huge plus: Kafka or other message passing systems (AMQP, JMS); Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana); SALT; Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash (ELK); Helm and Helmfile; Nexus Clearance requirement: TS/SCI+CI Poly (within last 7 years).
